The Meadows Retirement Community

This 55+ community in Sidney is a development project I planned and constructed with my husband, starting from a bare plot of land where the former North Saanich Middle School once stood. Here, the luxury residences are designed around a central common area finished with a stone fireplace, seating areas that invite conversation, and a large kitchen that opens onto a covered outdoor terrace. With West Coast craftsman architecture and an earthy, traditional palette, The Meadows allows the privacy of individual residences within a welcoming community atmosphere—all surrounded by lush landscaping, carefully planned exterior lighting, and curved walkways and terraces paved with patio stones to invite residents outdoors.
